Hawks fly higher

Bendigo Hawks Aquatic was established in 2012 following the amalgamation of Bendigo Swimming Club (founded in 1917) and Eaglehawk Swimming Club (founded in 1966). The club operates out of Faith Leech Aquatic Centre, with seasonal squad training at Peter Krenz Leisure Centre and Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre.

Our core values—nurturing aquatic excellence, championing fun and friendships, and developing courageous competitors—define our ethos. Launched in 2022, our Grow the Nest strategic plan continues to expand our competitive swimming program while strengthening our contribution to a healthier, more active City of Greater Bendigo.

Our commitment to excellence and community impact has earned us recognition as Swimming Victoria Club of the Year in 2023 and 2024. We also won the Bendigo Bank Community Award at the 2023 Bendigo Sports Star of the Year Awards and were finalists for the VicSport Community Club of the Year, celebrating our dedication to community initiatives.

Bendigo Hawks Aquatic acknowledges the traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
