Bendigo Hawks Aquatic is a not-for-profit swimming club established in 2012 following the amalgamation of Bendigo Swimming Club (established in 1917) and Eaglehawk Swimming Club (established in 1966).
The club conducts training and administration at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre, with seasonal squad training also at Peter Krenz Leisure Centre and Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre.
Our values, which include nurturing aquatic excellence, championing fun and friendships, and developing courageous competitors, define our ethos. Our "Grow the Nest" strategic plan, launched in 2022, continues to steer the growth of our competitive swimming program and our contributions towards a healthier, more active City of Greater Bendigo.
In 2023 and 2024 Bendigo Hawks Aquatic received the Swimming Victoria Club of the Year title and the Bendigo Bank Community Award at the 2023 Bendigo Sports Star of the Year Awards, recognising our community initiatives.
Bendigo Hawks Aquatic acknowledges the traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
