Come fly with the Bendigo Hawks at Faith Leech Aquatic Centre! We're raising money for our Hawks Future Fund and supporting community projects through our Hawks Care Program.  

What is Hawkathon

Hawkathon is a swimathon event fundraiser where athletes, families, friends, and the community gather to support our swim club. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just love making waves, everyone can join in on this thrilling challenge. Swim any way you like—be it 10 laps of freestyle, 100 laps of breaststroke, or even the playful doggy paddle. It's all about participating and enjoying yourself while supporting a fantastic cause and the carnival like atmosphere at Faith Leech Aquatic Centre. Registration is free, and the registration portal including full event details and how to fundraise will open in early 2025. 

What is the Hawks Future Fund

The Hawks Future Fund aims to raise funds that contribute towards supporting our swimmers on a competitive pathway by providing them with more opportunities to compete at all levels – from Encouragement Meets to District, State, National and maybe even one-day international events. 

What is the Hawks Care Program

The Hawks Care Program seeks to promote awareness of a local charity by leveraging swimming as a platform and donating 30% of the funds raised annually through Hawkathon. This initiative aims to foster positive outcomes for the community. Additionally, it strives to instill in our young hawks the lifelong value of giving back and the importance of community involvement, alongside nurturing their competitive spirit in the pool.
